Toni Mellor (She/Her) | Psychologist

Toni is a psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and adults across the lifespan. She has extensive experience supporting clients with complex needs, including survivors of family violence, providing both individual therapy and facilitating support groups for women and children. Toni has also supported clients in behavioural change programs.

With over ten years of experience in emergency services, Toni has a particular interest in the mental health challenges unique to this work, including anxiety, depression, sleep difficulties, and PTSD. She also brings international experience, having worked at the Australian Embassy in Thailand for two years.

Toni works with a wide range of concerns, including general and social anxiety, depression, sleep problems, stress management, work-related stress (including military, police, and emergency services), family violence, victims of crime, adjustment difficulties, interpersonal challenges, and general mental health concerns.

She takes a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach, drawing on evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT). Toni also incorporates mindfulness and yoga into her practice where clients feel comfortable, focusing on resilience and strengths to support meaningful growth.
