Lauren Furian (She/Her) | Psychologist
Lauren is a registered psychologist currently completing her final placement in the Master of Psychology (Clinical). She works with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and older adults, providing both therapeutic intervention and assessment for a variety of mental health concerns and cognitive profiles.
Lauren supports individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, panic disorder, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem and confidence difficulties, and general psychological distress. She also conducts cognitive and academic assessments to help clients gain insight into their strengths and challenges.
Using an eclectic mix of evidence-based interventions tailored to each client’s needs, Lauren primarily draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) while integrating techniques from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Schema Therapy. With an authentic, warm, and approachable style, she values building a secure therapeutic relationship and creating a comfortable space where clients feel empowered to explore their challenges and work toward lasting wellbeing.
