Camilla Franklin (She/Her) | Psychologist

Camilla is a registered psychologist currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology (Post-Registration). As part of this training, she is undertaking a supervised placement working with children, adolescents, and their families experiencing a wide range of challenges.

Camilla brings extensive prior experience supporting adults in both public mental health and private practice settings and is currently expanding her work with children, adolescents, and families under close clinical supervision. She aims to create a warm, safe, and collaborative therapeutic space where children and adolescents feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, feelings, and experiences at their own pace.

Camilla uses evidence-based approaches tailored to each young person’s developmental needs, including CBT, ACT, EMDR, Schema Therapy, and skills-based, trauma-informed, and family-inclusive strategies to support meaningful change at home, school, and in relationships.

Camilla is committed to providing inclusive and affirming care, and welcomes neurodivergent, gender-diverse, and LGBTQIA+ young people.

Appropriate Referrals Include:
Anxiety, low mood, emotional regulation difficulties, school-related stress and adjustment, family and interpersonal challenges, behavioural difficulties, life transitions, developmental trauma, self-harm and suicidal ideation, grief and loss, phobias, OCD, identity related concerns, LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergence.
