Akansha Mathur (She/Her) | Occupational Therapist
Akansha is a Paediatric Occupational Therapist with over eight years of experience delivering assessment and intervention for children and young people with neurodevelopmental, sensory, and physical needs. She has worked with mainstream schools in India and with the NHS in the United Kingdom, providing specialist services across mainstream and special schools as well as community clinic settings.
Akansha is skilled in comprehensive functional assessments, including standardised tools such as Movement ABC and DASH, and in developing evidence-based intervention plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, education staff, and families. Her clinical experience spans autism, developmental coordination disorders, neurodisability, neuromuscular conditions, and sensory processing difficulties. She is trained in sensory integration (SIPT), experienced in CO-OP and handwriting interventions, and committed to safe, accountable clinical practice and timely documentation. She takes a friendly, playful approach to therapy, helping children and families enjoy the process while working toward meaningful goals
